Kisumu county is one of the 47 counties and hosts the third largest city in Kenya. The County covers a total land area of 2009.5km2 and another 567 km2 covered by water. The county is sub-divided into seven sub-counties and 35 wards. According to the  2019 Population census, Kisumu county has a population of 1,144,777.
