SONU Aspirant Debate

An Aspirants debate was held on May 20th 2009 at the University of Nairobi main Campus 8-4-4 building.

The debate sought to give a platform for the students vying for various executive positions in the SONU structure to tell the other students their manifesto and plans for the positions they are vying for while at the same time the rest of the students got an opportunity to ask and challenge the aspirants of the changes they sought to bring.

The debate gave the students a rare chance to vet their leaders and helped them elect those that they felt would best represent them. This debate is bound to bring a sense of accountability on the elected student leaders.
