Political Cafe
Political Cafes are monthly meetings that provide young people with an opportunity to air their views on various national policies or situations in a relaxed non-formal atmosphere and to offer their recommendations towards the same. They are aimed at fostering a culture of substantive political discussions and policy debates in Kenya.
Political cafes have provided an opportunity to raise awareness on various/ current national policies and issues among youth and to interrogate their relevance and responsiveness to youth issues.
Dispatches from these political cafes are used as a base to lobby for new methods of operation among policy implementers so as to ensure effective and efficient implementation.
