The Overall goal of the Policy Research and Publications programme is to enhance responsiveness of national policies to the concerns of young people. This would in turn proactively facilitate a participatory process for young people to assert their roles and visibility in governance and development.
The Specific Objectives are:

To reform Kenyan laws, policies and practices which are prejudicial to or fail to protect the youth

To ensure that the Kenyan government conforms to local and international standards and conventions on the rights of the youth, including a culture of human rights through mainstreaming youth interests in GoK operations.

To audit the domestication of regional and international conventions on the Youth

Influence legislative agenda to mainstream young people’s issues in new laws and policies.
