PLDP

The Political Leadership Development Programme (PLDP) is a joint initiative by The Youth Agenda (YAA) and the Citizens Coalition for Constitutional Change (4Cs) in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Foundation(FES).The PLDP programme is a special intervention intended to create a new political leadership culture in Kenya. An anticipated benefit of this training is an opportunity to have a country with political leaders with appropriate knowledge, attitudes, values and skills in order to systematically develop and nurture a value driven and service oriented leadership in this country. Since its inception in 2003, a total of 129 young leaders have successfully graduated from the program. The programme graduates ( Pioneers 4 Change) are a political cadre of young ambitious men and women in Kenya who have been trained through the initiative, founded several leadership networks and lasting friendships and further reformed political parties, transformed institutions, run for elective positions and now serve as elected councillors, legislators and in public offices of this country..

The fifth training, PLDP V is ongoing
