Linda Bonyo

Linda Bonyo Mwongela is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and CEO at the Lawyers Hub.  With a speciality in Immigration Law and Technology Law, she sits on the Law Society of Kenya Committee on ICT and Intellectual Property and spends her time consulting for various organizations and County Assemblies on Governance and access to Justice vide use of technology.

Sam Mundia

Sam Mundia is a business  entrepreneur, financial planning consultant, community facilitator and lead advocacy in youth empowerment and gender issues. He is currently the Program Executive – Nairobi County Youth Network Organization. He is a leader in various organizations (SRHR Network; Board Director of Guruz Theater Productions; Member of GBV Working Group.). A profession in ICT Management and the Founder of Echo Media Technology Company.


Balqesa Abdi

Balqesa Abdi is a Young Peace Ambassador, youth and women empowerment activist and a journalist currently working in broadcast media, she holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from University of Nairobi, Bachelor of Science in Information Science from Moi University, Post graduate diploma in project management from Kenya institute of management and currently a student at institute of Diplomacy and international studies pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in International studies. Besides working in the media, Balqesa has worked as a young person, with many other international organizations including, UN HABITAT information management Unit, US centre for disease control and prevention (CDC) on the Global Aids program, Refugee health program, International Organization for migration (IOM) as a research assistant for youth women and livelihood program. .


Anne Waruguru

Anne Waruguru is a Public Governance Expert with well versed skills in public relations, Diplomacy, Program support, Program Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Development and execution of effective-Result oriented Communication and advocacy strategies. She also has a Law degree.

She is the Founder of Africa Rising Solutions, a social enterprise that focuses on social justice advocacy initiatives in Central Kenya. She engages the community at the ward level, involves in capacity building programs on leadership and good governance, advocacy against Gender Based Violence and practical approaches to youth and persons living with disability Empowerment.

Her efforts and passion to touch the lives of youths and women has seen her awarded in the 2018 International Women’s Day. She is an alumnus of Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) founded by President Barack Obama.


Suzanne Silantoi Lengewa

Suzanne Silantoi is an adolescent and youth coordinator under the Fahari Project at Centre for Behaviour Change and Communication, which focuses on empowering youth and adolescent girls in the informal settlements of Nairobi economically through mentorship, providing the girls with information on sexual and reproductive health as well as sensitization of their role in governance.

She was the youngest and the only woman in the Nairobi senatorial race in the last general elections in Kenya. As a young woman her ambitions to take an active role in leadership saw her nominated for the International Association of Political Consultants Democracy Award in 2017. She was part of the Short-Term Election Observation Mission of the African Union to the Republic of Sierra Leone’s 2018 General Elections.


Declan Magero

Declan Magero is the founding Partner at Afrinet Capital LLC, a Pan African VC Firm based in Nairobi Kenya and New York USA focused on East African Region. He is also the founder of SokoPlace a Logistics and Mobility platform for e-commerce and merchants in the African Marketplace. Declan Magero is a seasoned Entrepreneur, Researcher, Investment and Management Consultant with extensive multi-sectoral experience spanning Private Sector, Non-Profit, For-Profit and Government sector. He has held Senior positions in multiple development projects and organizations such as UNESCO, Kip McGrath Education Centres, among others. Declan also advises start-ups through outfits such as Startupbootcamp, Finnovation Africa Series, VC4Africa, EdTech East Africa and Ongoza Forum among others. He serves on the Boards of Advisory of several SMEs and Start-up companies. He holds an MBA and a BA in Philosophy.


Richard Kakunga

Richard Kakunga Wambua is the Chairperson of the Young Diplomats of Kenya (YDK), where he has led teams to partner with Government Offices, International Organizations, Foreign Embassies and High Commissions to advocate for youth inclusion and provide opportunities for growth. As a Diplomacy, Peace and Conflict expert, he has engaged in a number of high-profile policy research and data analysis assignments, and has advised, consulted and worked with various local and international organizations, including as an Assistant Manager at the Borgen Project, a US based NGO that advocates for poverty eradication policies at the US Senate and Congress. He has also worked with DW Media to host a Mental Health Awareness Forum at USIU-A and volunteers with UNICEF Kenya as a Youth Advocate. A motivational speaker, Richard Kakunga can converse in basic German, Spanish and is keen on adding Russian onto the list.


Huston Malande

Huston Malande is a Tech Expert and Software engineer at Safaricom Innovation. He is the CEO of Skyline. His passion for tech world saw him named an Airtel Future Shaper, and Skyline Design was awarded by the iHub for being amongst the top 100 companies to have shaped the Kenyan tech landscape. He got listed as one of the Top 30 Under 30 African techpreneurs by Forbes Africa. He is also collaborating with UNICEF as a Youth Advocate, inspiring and creating opportunities for the next generation of young entrepreneurs and mothers.


John Kaluvu

John Kaluvu is an expert in audit, compliance, financial reporting and risk management with over a decade of experience. He is an Alumni of Lenana School and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. He is also an entrepreneur and executive in various entities focusing on agriculture, investment and real estate; and a passionate advocate of youth empowerment and leadership.


Christine Wawira

Christine Wawira is a media expert with focus on digital news content. She holds a Master of Arts in International Studies from the University of Nairobi, Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies from School of Journalism (SOJ), University of Nairobi. Aside from working on digital media content, Wawira has served in many other international events offering her diplomacy and international relations skills.

Diana Sifuna

Diana Sifuna is the Chief Executive Officer of The Youth Agenda (YAA), Kenya’s top Youth Non-Governmental Organization that deals with Youth Development and Advocacy. She is a passionate youth advocate  with over 11 years of professional experience in media production, private sector and development sector. Prior to joining YAA in 2018, Sifuna served as Head of Marketing & Public Relations of an international real estate company Lordship Africa Ltd.
